What is the Difference Between Acute & Chronic Care?

Acute care is a general term referring to illnesses that are brief or short term, such as common colds, the Flu, Covid, minor injuries, or any other conditions that can be treated and healed rather quickly. Chronic conditions include illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, and depression, which consistently affect a patient for an extended period of time.

Our Services

Sick & Minor Urgent Care

Sick /minor emergencies require immediate attention, even if they aren’t life-threatening. However, if you don’t treat them, you can end up with unwelcome consequences. Some of these conditions include but are not limited to minor injuries, minor infections, cold and flu symptoms, GI upset, including nausea and vomiting, mild asthma attacks, rashes, and skin lesions.

Some of the tests we run at PDC include blood sugar, EKG, flu, strep, and urinalysis.
